SUMMER FUN!

NEW ENGLAND REGIONAL YOUTH EVENT

Inside Out, Outside In --

Finding Our Way in God's World June 24-27,2010 Boston, MA

We are delighted be taking these members of our youth group: Harley Blodgett,Kat Bottieri, Eric Glinsky, Trevor Kalafus, Gloria Knust, Brittany LaFleur, Emily John, Kelsey Marasco, Hollis Morin, Mikayla Musumeci, Brian O'Dea, Rachel Solomon, Jacob Solomon, Ian Sorensen, and Alana Spalding. Chaperons will be Anne Sorensen, Charlie Bottieri, Debby Kirk and Debbie Gray.

Thank you to all who are supporting our trip! Funds have come from several sources-- Youth Group fundraisers (including the recent Rent-A-Teen event), Card making class, EWCC Missions, FCCW Deacons and Women's Fellowship, Windham Association Scholarships, CT Conference Scholarships, as well as private donations and family contribu­tions. Please keep our youth in your prayers as they worship and learn in Boston this month.

Spend a week at our beautiful UCC Conference center in Sharon, CT and enjoy hiking, swimming, games, art, music, ropes course and more. Look on line at www.ctucc.orq for lots of wonderful conferences for all students entering grades 4 through 12.  

COMPASSION CAMP 2010 -- JULY 26-30
As we go to press we are FULL with 35 youth registered for our summer program of fun, friends, and service learning. We have a variety of projects lined up-Senior Cafe on July 27, then work at the Center of Hope, People's Harvest Community Garden, and a visit to the Second Chance Animal Shelter.

The Hill Church will be our home base and camp will run from 9:00 to 3:00 each day that week. The 2010 Compassion Camp Youth Staff has been selected and we have 8 amazing youth helping with the program.

Next Staff meeting will be on Tuesday, June 8 at 2:30 PM at the Hill Church. Adults who would like to help out should speak to Debby Kirk at 860-377-2675 or email ddkirk@snet.net.

We will be collecting donations until July 29 and take them with us when we visit the Brook­field, MA site. Leave your donations in the marked box in Great Room.
