Our Giv2 Team has been active in the community as we…

• Attended a “Learnshop” on hunger with Janet Kniffin of the CT Food Bank in March 2010.
• Prepared and served a meal at the Community Kitchen of Northeastern, CT in April 2010.
• Visited with residents at Regency Heights Nursing Home in June 2010.
• Attended a Giv2 Training Retreat with Whendi Cook Broderick in June 2010 and July 2011.

• Assisted with fall Clean up at the People’s Harvest Garden inn October 2010

• Baked cookies and delivered gifts to the Access Emergency Shelter in December 2010.

• Escorted athletes at the Special Olympics Swim meet at Windham High School in March 2011.

• Prepared cabins for the spring retreat season at the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Ashford on April 20, 2011.

• Worked on Trail Maintenance at Camp Nahaco Park in Eastford on October 23, 2011.

• Visited local nursing homes to help with tree decorating, caroling, patient transport and conversation on December 4, 2011.
